When I first attended college, I went to Peace College. A small college in Raleigh, NC that consisted of only girls. At first I was unsure as to how I would feel about all girls, and I was nervous because only one of my best friends was going with me to this college, other than that I knew no one; little did I know, I would soon meet those girls who always be in my heart. After completing a year and a half at Peace, and meeting several girls who changed my life for the better, I had to transfer to East Carolina. Don't get me wrong, although I did not want to go to ECU under any circumstances at first, I met some girls who made me realize that things really do happen for a reason; however, I will always be a Peace Girl at heart. That school gave me a great start to the college experience, allowed me to grow into who I am, and gave me the chance to meet amazing people. For that reason, whenever I see anything with Peace on it or a Peace sign, I just love it. So for those of you who may begin to believe after seeing a ton of things on my blog about peace that I am a hippie, I am not, I really am just a girl who misses the days she shared at a small college with a few girls who changed her life forever.
